Because I’d never really thought about the concept of predestination before, I wanted to know more about it—but apparently that’s just not humanly possible:

I finally understand why so many religious people go all gooey when the ever-petulant George W tells everyone to shut the fuck up. I know, I know—I’m slow on the uptake sometimes, but I get it now: It’s the authoritarianism, stupid!
